Webflow AEO + Localization on Gemini
Digidop's newsletter from May 23, 2026.
Welcome to the Digidop newsletter. Once again this week, we're bringing you the best news from the world of the web — and the Webflow ecosystem.
On the program:
Webflow AEO
Component props in code embeds
Localization switches to Gemini
New Webflow features
Webflow AEO available for Enterprise plans — measure your brand’s presence in AI-generated answers, get prioritized recommendations, and ship improvements at scale with the help of agents.
Component props in code embeds — you can now reference component props directly inside a Code Embed, plus a brand new “Code” property type on top of that.
AI translation for formatted content — Localization switches to Gemini for automatic translations, and now treats formatted elements (bold, links, spans) as a single coherent sentence rather than node by node.
Log in to Webflow with GitHub — your GitHub account is now accepted to sign up and log in to Webflow; handy for dev-oriented profiles, especially when working with Webflow Cloud and repository connections.
Quick snaps
And last but not least, here's some of the content we've picked up this week:
I tried the new Lovable aesthetic design — Ran Segal tests Lovable’s new feature that promises to generate creative, Awwwards-style designs; ambitious promise, still far from delivered.
Webflow’s new embed props — Timothy Ricks reviews Webflow’s new Code Embed props feature with concrete use cases.
5 underrated CSS properties every developer should know — Kevin Powell on lesser-known but genuinely useful CSS properties — a good way to get back into real code between two AI topics.
That's all for this week.
As always, we welcome your feedback. Reply to this e-mail to give us your opinion, tell us what you'd like to see in this newsletter or ask us any questions you may have.
Talk next week,
Lucas from Digidop
